HISTORY
African AIDS prevention center started in 1999 and became Africa Solutions in may 2001 in Minneapolis, MN. Africa Solutions has provided numerous health services in African communities in the twin cities and became the first African non-profit organization to organize HIV forums in the state of Minnesota. Africa Solutions was also the fiscal agent in the African World Day, a forum regrouping 64 African NGOs fighting HIV in African communities in the twin cities. Africa Solutions has returned in business with a new vision and strategy shifting to oversee missions in Africa.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
Our strategic planning is to bring sustainable community improvement through innovative solutions and approaches to address societal problems in African communities in the United States and Africa.

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Dr. Charles Koudou, a United States citizen, born in Ivory Coast in West Africa, worked in the Health Ministry in Cote d'Ivoire as a human resource officer from 1996 to 1989 before he was transferred as Deputy Administrator-Manager of the Ivory Coast National HIV program. In 1992, he moved to Quebec, Canada to continue his education. In July 1996, Dr. Charles Koudou immigrated to the United States with his wife and four children. In the U.S. he has worked for several organizations such as John Hopkins University (Child Survival program), and the American Red Cross before establishing Africa Solutions, Inc. Dr. Koudou's education includes a Masters in Psychology and a Masters in Community Health from Laval University in Quebec, Canada, and a Doctorate of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
